Many a people I know have these live journal or xanga blog type-thingies, so you can safely say they've inspired me. Often, people miss sharing their thoughts just because of a lack of audience, or lack of opportunity. Who knows, maybe I just need an excuse to yap :-D.
I like books, but I'm afraid I'm not as open as one, so here goes nothin'.
